It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

JHINDU-PEDRO LAWRIE

A storyteller learning from his experience and point of view as a young Aboriginal man growing up in an ever-changing world. Renowned drummer for an impressive list of bands in Brisbane, including the highly esteemed outfit: The Medics. He has continued composing and writing songs, undertaking multiple music projects and mentoring within Indigenous arts organisation Digi Youth Arts. Slowly but surely Jhindu studies his family’s history and language to explore with music and educate the next generation of Indigenous artists.

Jhindu is co-curator of Blak Social’s residency at The Tivoli (and one of Alethea’s favourite people).

LOKI LIDDLE

Loki Liddle is a Jabirr Jabirr man, a poet, a musician and a Creative Producer for Digi Youth Arts. His band Selve has performed slots opening for Electric Fields and Megan Washington at The Tivoli, at Deadly Hearts alongside Archie Roach, Jessica Mauboy and Moju, and was nominated for the Billy Thorpe Scholarship at the 2021 QMA’s.

Through his work at Digi Youth Arts he has helped to deliver: a mural in Brisbane, the Original Influencers podcast, an installation at Woodford Folk Festival and is currently also a member of The Ancient Bloods.

Loki is working on Blak Friday and is like an annoying little brother who won’t leave Alethea alone ;)
